But the phrase “That should have happened” and “Oh, it should be ready” followed by lots of sighing, it’s not exactly something that inspires confidence in the very expensive service that I paid for in the US.
Then the “I can’t get in touch with the person allocated this job, could you ring back in an hour” after it took me 10 goes to get through to someone because your phone system cuts you off, fails to answer and most helpfully has silence rather than hold music for the long periods of time you’re on hold… that doesn’t make me thrilled.
And really extreme politeness on the phone from a Brit? It’s a sure sign someone is not happy.
