They say there’s no smoke without fire, and it looks like we came pretty close lark night. Kathryn was awoken by out power tripping out and went downstairs to check…where she found the dishwasher timer sparking merrily away despite no longer having power. She yanked it from the mains and the dishwasher itself; unfortunately it seems that despite its apparently high current rating it couldn’t cope with the switching current of the dishwasher… it’s pretty melty… and I suspect this marks the end of my attempts to create an inline timer. Time to find dishwasher with a built in one I guess…

This though is the second time Kathryn has saved our street from a fiery doom (having saved our neighbours house a while ago)
