There’s only one problem with that plan…

So, to relax I decided to do a bit of playlist creation for Pride. And then I played with ShoutCAST with the cunning plan that by virtue of some networking we could stream the music across across the various machines, and thus have a ‘radio station’ playing from several of the cars, all simultaneously playing the same tune.

Unfortunately, what I didn’t twig until experiementation commenced was that… it doesn’t bloody sync does it. The machine that’s *streaming* is way ahead of the machines being streamed to. And the machines being streamed to? Well, it takes them different amounts of time to perform track changes and decode stuff so…. they end up out of sync on track changes anyway. Anyone any suggestions (other than the one-server, multi-client, make one 3 hour long track….)

Kate's a human mostly built out of spite and overcoming transphobia-racism-and-other-bullshit. Although increasingly right-wing bigots would say otherwise. So she's either a human or a lizard in disguise sent to destroy all of humanity. Either way, it's all good.
