Teaching Tribal History Is Finally Required in Washington Public Schools
AWESOME.
There’s already a required state history component in Washington’s public education, but it’s the entirely white telling (history started with white explorers/invaders, with bonus massacres).
This is basically just saying that when they teach regional history they need to teach ALL of it. About damn time! Wahoo!
