Let’s start the day with a couple of tests…..’cos it’s, ooh, a day since I did one.
I am 41% evil.

Right, now that’s over and done with – well. Yes. Today I had my bike booked in for an MOT.
Now, I’d spent quite a lot of yesterday swearing because although I was insured the local bike place I like to go to to get my MOT’s done is closed on a Wednesday, for some reason bike shops still seem to be routed somewhere in the 60’s and thus close on Wednesdays. Anyway, so I’d been ringing round attempting to get this MOT booked. And no-where in Bristol that was open yesterday could do an MOT today.
But there was this little garage out in the middle of nowhere which had a test free today – so off we went. But remember that we’re going on the 251 – well, Lauren’s on her 125 and I’m on my 251. Now. It’s raining and this bike, well, it’s not running well because the points are completely shot.
Well, that and it’s been stood for years. Anyway. So. It’s not running well, and it’s raining, and the tyres can’t warm up, and are shite anyway. And 3rd gear doesn’t work.
To be more accurate it sort of jumps in and out of 3rd gear.
Which is fairly hellish – anyway, so, we manage to limp to this MOT station out in the middle of nowhere, and I’m thinking “this is taking the piss, it really shouldn’t pass”.
And it doesn’t. It’s only a niggling minor fault, but the bloke’s very MOT concious, possibly ‘cos it’s a new test centre.
Arse. I ride the thing home – after an interesting chat with the owner of a Sunbeam Tiger – who appears to run this garage out in the middle of no-where.
Anyway – we ride back – in the *pissing rain* – with water almost a foot deep at one point – and me nearly binning the bike on a moderately sharp corner (those tyres *really* need changing)….and I take my bike to my favourite MOT place. “It’s okay for the test, but the engine’s shot”.
So here we are. One MOT test pass later. So, now I have a 251 with MOT :-)
Next we need the bits which should arrive tomorrow and then the cast wheels which should arrive next week :-)
Unfortunately I have a fairly major headache now – the ride was quite *exciting* – but the comedown’s fairly hard….

I’m trying to figure out how people can be more evil than me.. how can I get 33% evil!!

Ok. So you’re 41% evil. But then you’re also ‘everything nice’. Hmmm!

There must be an admin-error somewhere surely.. I can’t believe I’m *That* innocent.. Oh well. I’ll come visit sometime :)
