Finally managed to coax the enthusiasm out of myself to do some more of the endless painting job (the stairs/hall trim). Opened the tin.
The paint was mouldy.
I mean, mouldy, as in, the lid of the tin had furry bobbles growing on it.
Seriously.
I mean, it’s been a month, but I don’t expect paint to get furry at all.
Feh.
…I’m fairly certain this is just your building materials finding new and creative ways to thwart you.
Mold.
On month-old paint.
…whut.
It is INSANITY
I’ve paint that’s years old that I’ve used.
I’m blaming the strange irish low-odour paint that we bought. And attempting to get my ass in gear to finish painting a weee bit more rapidly, before it turns into a sentient life form and redecorates for us in its own inimitable style.
