I was at a con where Jonathan Frakes was a guest, and he told a story about how once, while they were filming one of the many, many scenes in which the bridge crew had to lurch from side to side in sync (”Three, two, one, LEFT!”) to simulate an attack on the Enterprise, Patrick Stewart leaned toward him and sighed, “Jonathan … I was a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company.”
