I am incredibly unsettled by this story of a reporter denied a press pass, frisked for a cellphone, then thrown out of a rally for Trump’s VP nom. I know; it’s on private property so they can choose their audience. Still. The reasoning is that the Post has said things Trump didn’t like. I’ve been getting their news feed for a few weeks, now, and have often been disappointed at how easy they’ve gone on the guy.
Of all the shades of fascism I’ve seen in Trump’s campaign, this one bothers me the most.
