ASHEVILLE LESBIAN COUPLE MISSING, BELIEVED TO BE IN DANGER

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office and the Asheville Police Department are conducting a joint investigation regarding missing persons, Alexandra Brooke King and Tatianna Diz, who were last seen on October 27th leaving Canterbury Place Apartments in between the hours of 9:00 and 10:00 p.m.

The dark blue VW Jetta belonging to Alexandra King was recovered Wednesday morning on Craven Street at the edge of the French Broad River near the New Belgium Brewery site.

The Asheville Police Department confirms they are now investigating the connection between these missing persons and Pierre Lamont Griffin II.  

Pierre Lamont Griffin II, 22, was arrested and charged Wednesday after allegedly shooting and killing an Asheville man before taking deputies on a multi-county chase on Tuesday night.

Friends and family of Alexandra King, 22, and Tatianna Diz, 20, say the two were texting with a man named “Pierre” on Tuesday night before they went missing.

King is described as a white female, 5 feet 11 inches and weighs about 120 pounds. She has short brown hair, tattoo of a lightning bolt on her right arm and gauges in her ears.

Diz is a Hispanic female, 5 feet 2 inches. She has brown curly hair on one side of her head with the opposite side shave and dyed blonde.
