Ick

So, I’ve spent almost the entirety of the last 2 weeks inside – mostly watching Chuck, House, or doing the development programme from work. The process has paid off, I’ve finished the development programme and am currently waiting for my poor printer to spew forth 150ish pages (plus some references). The poor little duplex unit has not seen so much paper since I was finishing off my university degree.

As a side point, printers are terrifyingly cheap now. 60 quid buys you a fax/print/scanner. How is that sane? It’s only £10 *more* to buy a new printer than to buy two cartridges for mine. Mind you, mine has duplex and theirs don’t. So :-P

Anyhow, the problem is that 2 weeks indoors does not do good things to Kate. Kate now feels mildly unwell. Not awful, just a bit ick. This is upsetting for Kate.

Also, perhaps having fish for lunch, dinner, lunch, dinner, and lunch was not the best plan. In future, remind me to engage my brain before making lunch.

Kate's allegedly a human (although increasingly right-wing bigots would say otherwise). She's definitely not a vampire, despite what some other people claim. She's also mostly built out of spite and overcoming oppositional-sexism, racism, and other random bullshit. So she's either a human or a lizard in disguise sent to destroy all of humanity. Either way, she's here to reassure that it's all fine.
