So, had a fairly busy weekend….starting on friday night. Actually, my first bit of news predates the weekend. I’ve got a job interview…..with the NHS! Yes, they managed not to lose both my application forms. And I actually got an interview, so I’ve got the hugest, most scary form to fill in.
A ‘Disclosure’ form….which doesn’t look fun.
Anyway, there’s that, then there’s the accountants tomorrow for Regolith stuff. That’s suitably terrifying, and I’ll be heading off to bed in a bit…..
And I’ve got a duplication run to do this week…how do I do it to myself, or how the world does it to me continues to suprise me – I’m just burbling along, doing sod all, and then suddenly I get a great huge pile of stuff to do in the few days.
So, this weekend I had Peter (for the entire long weekend) and Alexa (for the day) down to visit…which was cool. We spent a very relaxed weekend doing not terribly exciting, nor stressful things (apart from Peter moving a washing machine). Eating fajitas (yes, I cooked and he didn’t die!), wandering around town, around the downs (briefly, it went quite cold and I wasn’t dressed for it), around ‘the mall’, watched ‘Real Men’ off one of my ancient and very worn videos, went to see a film (‘The Guru’, was excellent, thoroughly recommend it), took loads of photos (entire 36 exposure film, sadly mostly of me….unfortunately they’re destined for Amy and no-one else. Well, one’s for Jas, but anyway.)….hrm, went down to Weston Super-Mare (I do think that’s an excellent placename)….just generally pottered about and then headed home.
Which was, to be frank, *really nice*. It was just a generally good weekend. And now I have the stresses and strains of tomorrow to look forward to…

I’m quite lucky ‘cos my old name is unisex, so I can just pop it down without revealing anymore about myself.
It doesn’t ask *why* you changed it :-)
