I thought I was the only one….

When I am in a school or work environment, I have cheap pens on me specifically to loan people, so I’m not giving them one of my good pens.

I have to jealously guard even the cheap pens at work. Otherwise, I wind up with no pens.

I now have a fountain pen (oh, I love my fountain pen), and can validly decline to lend it to people: ‘oh, the nib’s worn to the way I hold it’… 

As opposed to this situation arising…again:
