[Abandoned Court]

Here’s some quick’n'dirty shots of the old Court in Bristol.

It’s actually opposite the new one, and I did get asked by security what I was up to; and apart from being a bit confused about why I’d want pictures of old buildings (I think they think I’m a very strange girl) they seemed happy enough for me to carry on; however I don’t think I’ll be trying for any interior shots, what with it being attached to the police station (which they seem to be in the process of closing) and, as I say, opposite an active court!

I did get one ‘entrance’ shot – ’scuse the flash, but like I say, quick’n'dirty…

Impressive graffiti; it’s only done in chalk (I think), but it appears to have lasted 5 years. Presumably being opposite a court and next to a police station disuades people from doing… anything… very much.

The next three shots are taken of the Police Headquarters next to the court. I’m not sure if this bit of the building is disused. It certainly seemed pretty devoid of activity or maintainance; they’ve shut the ‘other’ entrance to this building in the last few months and I’ve never seen anything going on in this bit…
